Garden Route and back!

Yesterday we came back from our wonderful and eventful trip to the Garden Route back to Durbanville. More than a thousand miles in our loyal Beatle.

On Monday it was as first to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost point of Africa, including the actual transition from the Atlantic, the west and the Indian Ocean in the east. While it was incredibly windy but very beautiful, we have diligently mussels collected in the evening and had another boozy holiday starting party. Have the corresponding Jannek and I sat the next day on the horses. Yes, on the horses we have to be convinced a ride on the beach was very nice, but I prefer doing it but four wheels and steering wheel NEN!

From there we went on to Mossel Bay. In Mossel Bay we have slept in an abandoned train on the beach, a bit tight but once on the location unbeatable, asleep to the sound of the waves and wake to the sound of the waves again. After a refreshing dip in the ocean the next morning, we loaded our Beatle again and we have made the trip to Knysna.

The road was not very long. We have also posted there in a very nice backpackers and have a beach looking for what proved to be a little difficult in Knysna. Search for something we do not actually have the beach but found this cliff where the girls were sunbathing. Jannek and I have therefore decided to climb a little in the rock, incredibly nice and interesting with some of the caves above the water and many in the water, swim a bit too dangerous. In the evening we have gebraait very nice (the South African barbecue). The next morning we checked out the backpackers and are down to the harbor. There, we made a trip through the Knysna lagoon on a beautiful, white, sailing catamaran. Unfortunately the waves were too high in the lagoon exit down to the sea out (Travel Guide: The British Navy called the Knysna lagoon as the most dangerous harbor entrance in the world). Back on land we have just eaten something and went on to plate Berg Bay.

In Plattenberg Bay we wanted the beach because there was very nice but a bit windy, we are up at a lookout point from where we had a wonderful view of the bay. The next morning there was my personal highlight, we are for the Highest Commercial Bungy Jumping the world down. Janneke, Myriam and I have then bravely plunged the 216m high bridge down. Crazy feeling when one is up there, the two begin to count is holding a 3 ... 2 ... 1 Bungy and a slight tilt to the front and one in the depths, just an incredible feeling!

Fully loaded with adrenaline, we made our way back towards Cape Town. With a stop in wilderness because Doro and Bianca wanted to do from there paragliding. There we have stayed in a super backpacker. The next morning the two are then lifted off. Afterwards, we have opened ourselves to our last stop, a second Mossel Bay plays. This time we decided against the train and are in probably the most beautiful Backpackers stayed on our trip, a beautiful old house with beautiful garden with fish pond and hanging chairs, mats and a great barbecue.

On Sunday we went back to Durbanville.

I hope I could sum up the exciting weeks to some extent.

There's an even Janneke last week opened on Saturday I have my little brother again in the plane to Germany is, let's see if we still nen little bit of here from making can.

Milena Velba Und Sport

Then you could stand it!

Yesterday we had for the Children's Home a trip to Robinson, a beautiful wine-growing area about 130km from Cape Town made. A wonderful tail, very nice landscape. The whole was topped only by the even more beautiful winery where we had to pick up "Donation-wine". Jannek and two other volunteers who have come to us have the same opportunity for a Weintasting used there, of course I did not have when I go . I'll catch up yet because we bought a few bottles of drinking her health in order it here. According to the three the best wine they have ever tasted, which always means that:). Well I'm curious because I am here, have developed hopefully to the delight of my father, a wine drinker. Although I have told him before I left, this had a drink for old men, now everyone can think what he wants!
Jannek yesterday drove with two other volunteers in a township there to make some kids soccer practice, help another project where the.
On Monday we will start with three others at a trip to the Garden Route, of course with our Beatle. I have already bought a strap for some of our luggage on the could to fix the roof as otherwise to five person but are a little too tight . More News
then to or from the Garden Route.
