List Of 1st Generation Pokemon

The first month

So now it is already 4 weeks since I am a little sad and excited, rose in Frankfurt on the plane.
If I'm honest it does me a lot time ago, but that's probably because I have already settled quite well.
But I'll start from scratch ...

My flights were both ok and my 10 hour stay in Sao Paulo became quite nice. I was fortunate to make it there at the airport to the acquaintance of some Bolivians to me willingly answered all my questions about the country and to me, reducing the waiting time extreme.
the airport of Santa Cruz, I was then picked up and brought directly to the children's village. Although I was already pretty broken after 26 stuendiger arrival looked I first had roughly the children's village on.
was tired but then I pretty much go to bed.

The next morning or afternoon (I slept late) then showed me the other volunteers (we are five in total) First the children's village and then the inner city.
The Children's Village consists of several family houses as already described for a total of 120 children's children. Connected to the Children's Village also a school which is also used by children who do not live at the orphanage and a kindergarten. The kindergarten is exclusively attended by children who do not live at the orphanage.

I myself live in a guesthouse on the grounds of the orphanage, not in a family. In addition to an approximately 8 square meters room, I even have a private bathroom, here is what real luxury.

In the hallway outside my room is also a small kitchen. I have but not yet used to the fridge and kettle, cooked for us because of a Tia is. The food mostly. However, it is quite fatty, and it is inevitable that one sometimes gets an upset stomach.

My daily schedule looks like right now that I am in kindergarten work. Usually I'm in the smallest group in the 0-2 year old, very cute but also loud as if all start to cry together.
In kindergarten, all imaginable holidays are celebrated. For example, the
was Fruehlingsanfang (yes with us now, spring) is celebrated with a beautiful spring holiday. Last week we had celebrated
also the day of Santa Cruz and all the children marching.

After lunch we work at the orphanage. Mostly, we first help with homework or tutoring especially in English. Will be followed by free time. Together with other volunteers, we have 2 times a week to dance and Akkrobatikkurse that are very well accepted by children.
Otherwise, we of course play a lot with the children, from the UN, various fishing games, etc.
are very excited of course, also the children from any kind of spinning around. I do already sore from all the aircraft.

As soon as my English is better but I will work with the social worker of the facility. Unfortunately, this speaks only English, and just in terms Fachausdruecke mmmhhh ... ... I have to learn a little more.
course, we have in between times also free. I used this mainly to drink every time in the city for respectable NEN cappuccino and of course to access the Internet. On weekends, we go as far as political conditions permit sometimes at night in the city.

the moment but there are no riots in the city and it is very quiet.

Finally I would like to say that I really like very much and so far my expectations have been fully satisfied.

And now many greetings

your Anna

Anyway, we have already at the first day Awajún get our name, which is apparently something quite special. Other people have to wait years to get a name. Julia
means Ipak and Ronja called Suwa. Awajún a legend after Ipak and Suwa were sisters who have somehow transformed into plants. Suwa is large can with dark hair and from the plant you win Ipak black color and is smaller with light hair from the roots to rota can gain color.

Well, did you get that name already? Well anyway we are fine and we're looking forward to see you again in January (or maybe even earlier?)!

The project

On 2 September gehts los ....
Then I will leave Germany and spend a year in Santa Cruz.
I will be there to complete a voluntary service and the Children's Village work "Aldeas de Ninos Father Alfred".

The Children's Village consists of 11 family houses for each
10-12 children and a Tia (SOS mother)
a nursery school

1 1 outdoor living group for the girls
1 male group home for boys
a mother and child-education center for single mothers in need

The Children's Village is specialized to give orphaned children a permanent home in a children's village family with the aim of the children to a future independent and social prepare for life.

orphans are housed in the Children's Village, by the state institution for the protection of minors (EX-ONAMFA), as well as the social worker of the organization carrying out a detailed study of the social situation and prepare a social report, referred to the Children's Village. In some cases
the children were left in the environment of the orphanage in the lurch. These are then the social services (EX-ONAMFA) reported on the registration and reporting.
In other cases, the orphans were reported by neighbors and taken to the orphanage. Although in these cases, the investigations of the situation are completed, the children are accepted. Financed

the children's village is mainly through donations.
