Jana and I have to Arusha last week to our friends down there and were able to relax again.
We have a little party and are made with African friends to the hot liquid manure down. Just imagine you live in the poorest countries. a. How was your arrival in the project? How you took up the project partners?
Before the arrival of Jana and I were still in Arusha at the Work Camp. Only a week after the end of the work camp, we then our mentor, Richard and Claudia D. from Arusha to Singida down. The bus journey was very tiring and when we eventually arrived in Singida, we have Jana and Claudia brought them to Jana's family and are then drove to Richard's house, where I am housed. a. Are you satisfied with the accommodation and food?

Today is day 3 and we are currently on a "sightseeing tour" of Singida. Life here is different than in Arusha. to the outer first: it is very dry, windy and dusty here. otherwise we were now the last week traveling by bus from Arusha to Lushoto. But since I the night before was not feeling well and had a high fever I was the bus trip and the other 3 days posted very strong. but I wanted to! in Lushoto, it was then so bad that I had to go to hospital and told me there was given against the fever. of malaria was suspected, size, because I no prophylaxis and slept under any mosquito net and I already had prints! was the next day was announced to wait 4 hours. results were negative but the blood and therefore it was clear that I had no malaria and no typhoid! it was something closer to a food poisoning! Pangani is a very interesting history and is located in Tanga. After I my promise that I could not keep me now more often would like to report, I report again from a distance. One of my last posts here from Costa Rica as I notice. I'll start with the departure seminar. This was 4 days. To this end we drove all at a nice, warm place with swimming pool. Also present were Costa Ricans, going abroad, volunteers to go as soon as I and others who arrived after us. Overall, we were almost 100! The program was more solala, for it is the parties in the evenings rather wow! And what I have realized that I really am almost home.
mmmhhh home ... ... then I think first of my mother, my room, family and friends and of course Germany itself. here after the year I noticed how different people live yet. At first glance, it looks only slightly different. Different food. And that's it. After closer inspection (1 year seems to be a lot of time but just enough for it), I noticed how incredibly different the lifestyle, attitudes and People themselves are.
