Jana and I are now after a long bus ride we arrived in Singida and live straight. Jana is accommodated in a homestay, 10 min. walk away from my home. I live with my mentor Richard in a house that a mother belongs children by 3. I always eat with richard bennet and a friend called him. on 2 day here we drove to iguguno and have there all day with two other German volunteers spent. Today is day 3 and we are currently on a "sightseeing tour" of Singida. Life here is different than in Arusha. to the outer first: it is very dry, windy and dusty here. The roads are mostly just sand and the houses are small and made of clay. between the giant stones wohnplaetzen rise again "Mawe" in the Singida lend a certain personality, for no other city has such blocks. on these rocks are painted advertising often. most people go with the wheel or just go on foot because a car that can barely pass roads. to the important things like water and electricity, I am now: explained is water, and richard me this, most of the time available. but sometimes you have to make do without water for weeks here. This water is collected in small huts made of water taps. crowds gather to 3 times as many buckets and containers of about how people in front of the ticket sales before a league game! is showered in buckets and brush your teeth you have to make with boiled water. current is houses in almost all rooms and available. really a power failure I have never experienced until now! the "choo" toilets are just holes in the ground. should be able to be here: P
